Fundraising campaign for Stratford-upon-Avon meningitis amputee
A fundraising campaign has been launched to help a teaching assistant rebuild her life after suffering a potentially deadly infection.
Jo Arnold, from Stratford-upon-Avon, contracted a form of bacterial meningitis last year and lost her fingers and toes to septicaemia.
She was told she will have to wait for two years for prosthetic hand, so friends and family have started fundraising for £16,000.
Her husband Paul said it was "mad" as his wife wanted to return to work but was being stopped, reports Joan Cummins for Midlands Today.
