One-to-one help in West Midlands for domestic abusers

Men and women who attack their partners are to get one-to-one coaching under a new scheme in the West Midlands.

It comes as West Midlands Police report a rise of 40% in three years to 17,086 recorded domestic violence incidents in 2014.

Fry Housing Trust has been working with offenders to help steer them away from violence.

Linda, from Wolverhampton, was abused by a former partner and now runs a charity Four Steps to a Smile, helping other victims.
