How to build a major road: In 25 seconds

A time-lapse video showing the construction of a new £14.9m road junction in Coventry has been released.

The video shows the overnight installation of the 50-tonne steel beams that form part of the bridge deck at Junction 6 of the city's ring road.

Thousands of images of the work were captured over a 15-month period and the full three-minute long film can be seen on the Coventry City Council website.
