Clacton Air Show: Safety 'priority'

Clacton Airshow has opened with organisers promising safety is the "number one priority".

The two-day event opened on Thursday as planned, despite the fatal crash at Shoreham at the weekend.

The air displays at the event take place over the sea and are not affected by the new regulations imposed by the Civil Aviation Authority.

Nigel Brown, one of the organisers, said they were being as safe as possible.
