Big break for actor with Asperger's in RSC play

An actor with Asperger's Syndrome is making his debut in a new Royal Shakespeare Company production.

Nicky Priest, from Birmingham has got his break playing the part of Danny - a character with a learning disability - in 'The Seven Acts of Mercy' at The Swan in Stratford-upon-Avon.

He's among a number of young performers on the autistic spectrum making a name for themselves: Jules Roberston debuted on Holby City at the beginning of 2016.

Mr Priest is also working on his career as a stand-up comedian and is currently being mentored by Janice Connolly.
