Aslef boss says deal with Southern done in good faith

A train drivers' union has reached a deal with the operators of the Southern network, ending crippling strike action by its members.

The General Secretary of rail union Aslef, Mick Whelan says the deal was discussed in "good faith" and that he can recommend it to his members.

He told BBC Radio 4's PM programme that there were still some outstanding issues which would need "wider discussion" in the industry.
