Scene of crane collapse in Crewe

A crane has collapsed at a building site in Crewe, trapping three people underneath.

The incident happened near near Morrisons in Dunwoody Way on Wednesday afternoon.

Police said emergency services are working at the scene and one man has been airlifted to hospital with unconfirmed injuries.

Dunwoody Way was closed at its junction of West Street near to Morrisons.

"The Health and Safety Executive have been informed."
