'Sudan migrant clings under lorry' from Calais

Twenty-four hours after hundreds of migrants were seen trying to board lorries in Calais bound for the UK, Bedfordshire Police have arrested seven men.

The suspected migrants were seen climbing out of lorries at the Toddington services area on the M1.

One of the men, a 22-year-old from Sudan, told BBC reporter Neil Bradford he left his home country three weeks ago.

After spending three days in Calais he said arrived in the UK by clinging to the underside of a lorry.

All seven arrested men remain in custody at Luton police station.
