A new art project is celebrating Luton's 'vibrancy and diversity'
A new £2.2m art project in Luton is celebrating the town's "vibrancy and diversity".
Beacon includes a large light-box poster made up of 800 bulbs as well as projections on to buildings.
It was created by Luton-born artist Mark Titchner and will be in place for two years.
"Luton has this amazing diversity of language," said Mark Titchner. "That's really a jumping point for us that will lead out of this project as we translate it into different languages."
Arts Council England are giving charity Luton Culture almost £2.2m over five years to develop a 10-year cultural vision for the town.
