Children help man homeless stall in Bedford

Children have joined volunteers who meet in Bedford on a Saturday evening to help the homeless.

For the past 18 months, the team have set up a stall on De Parys Avenue where they are visited by 50 to 80 people each time.

They cook and prepare hot and cold food which can be eaten at the time or taken away.

The volunteers also collect unwanted clothes and lay them out for people to take what they need.
