Bedford: Smoke and flames from large fire captured on video

Video footage has captured smoke and flames rising from the roof of a burning building after a major gas explosion wrecked flats.

Crews were called to the Redwood Grove area of Bedford on Monday morning.

Witness Alex Feltham said he heard "a large boom" at about 09:30 BST "and the roof of the block of flats had been destroyed". He said the flames spread quickly.
