BBC Rewind: Luton Town 1959 FA Cup run sees hat sales soar

A traditional straw boater hat maker struggled to cope with demand ahead of Luton Town's FA Cup final in 1959.

It was very popular among football fans in the town, whose historical connection with hat making gave the club its Hatters nickname.

All eyes have been on the club's Championship play-off final against Coventry at Wembley, where a 2-1 defeat to Nottingham Forest shattered their dream of lifting the cup 64 years ago.
