Newbury Racecourse housing plan

Part of Newbury Racecourse has been sold by its owners to property developers.

Over the next 10 years the racing facilities will be redeveloped and 1,500 homes built. A new road bridge will link the course with Newbury town centre.

About 30% of the homes to be built are intended to be affordable and shared-equity properties.
