Reading woman, 71, oldest to pass grade six ballet exam

A 71-year-old woman has become the oldest ballet dancer in the country to pass her grade six exam.

Doreen Pechey, who has lessons in Reading alongside teenage classmates, decided to take ballet lessons after she reached retirement age.

Passing the exam has enabled her to become an affiliate member of the Royal Academy of Dance.

BBC's Allen Sinclair met the dancer for South Today.
