Aston Williams police crash death: CPS to review no charge decision

The family of a 28-year-old man who was struck and killed by a police car, have successfully forced prosecutors to review their decision not to prosecute the officers involved.

Aston McLean was hit as police responded to a burglary in Reading in 2014.

The Crown Prosecution Service had previously concluded the two Thames Valley officers would not face criminal charges over his death.

Mr McLean's father, Neil, said he wants justice for his son.
