Mental health app available to Wokingham teenagers

A mobile app to help teenagers record their mood in a bid to tackle mental health issues has been developed by a health watchdog.

Healthwatch Wokingham developed "Appyness" after finding 50% of young people who responded to a survey suffered from anxiety, stress or depression.

It is hoped that the app can spark conversations between young people and health professionals over mental wellbeing.

The information recorded on the free app, external is confidential and secure, but can be shared with mental health professionals if the user chooses.
