Amelia Dyer: Grisly murder tools found in Reading loft

Items used by a serial killer, who is believed to have killed 400 infants in her care, have been found in a loft more than a century later.

Amelia Dyer, from Reading, Berkshire strangled babies in her care before disposing of their bodies in the river.

Dyer was hanged in 1896 after her crimes were uncovered by detective DC Anderson.

Anderson's great-great-grandson found the box containing paper packaging, string and white edging tape - which was used to conceal and strangle a baby girl.
