Bert Williams: tributes to ex-England and Wolves keeper

Plans to honour former Wolverhampton Wanderers and England goalkeeper Bert Williams have been revealed.

Williams, who played more than 400 matches for the club, died on Sunday at the age of 93.

Wolverhampton Wanderers said it planned to hold a minute's applause in remembrance of Mr Williams, ahead of Saturday's match against Bristol City.

A memorial service is also due to take place.
