Birmingham City owner Carson Yeung handed prison term
Birmingham City owner Carson Yeung has been jailed for six years for money laundering by a court in Hong Kong.
Yeung, 54, was found guilty on five charges relating to HK$720m (£55m) passing through his bank accounts between 2001 and 2007.
He resigned as president of the football club in February, but remains a majority shareholder.
Three of the four remaining directors are Yeung's close relatives, including his 20-year-old son Ryan.
