Trojan Horse case damaging our school, say pupils

Pupils at a Birmingham school which is at the centre of the so-called "Trojan Horse" allegations say their future job projects could be affected by allegations of Islamic extremism.

Park View School, in Alum Rock, is being investigated by Birmingham City Council, the government and Ofsted over allegations it has adopted extremist practices, such as the segregation of boys and girls and assemblies supporting Al-Qaeda.

Park View is one of 25 schools in Birmingham being investigated after a letter, apparently sent to someone in Bradford, claimed a Muslim faction had sought to gain influence over schools and remove staff who were not sympathetic to its religious agenda.

Peter Wilson spoke to staff and pupils at the school about the effect the allegations are having on them.
