Chinese New Year celebrated in Birmingham

Thousands of people have celebrated Chinese New Year in Birmingham city centre with a traditional festival.

Displays welcoming the Year of the Sheep included martial arts demonstrations, a Lion Dance and fireworks.

As BBC Midlands Today's Kathryn Stanczyszyn reports, the organising committee's chairman Jeffrey Yap said fundraising for next year's celebrations had already begun.
