So is it time to introduce medical checks or even another test?

Angela Rippon has been investigating.

It comes after an 88-year-old driver ploughed through the window of a hairdressers in Wordsley, West Midlands, after losing control of her car and police stopped a car travelling the wrong way along the M6 Toll, driven by a 77-year-old man with dementia who had been reported missing from his home.
