New Birmingham apprenticeship for future Michelin chefs
A new apprenticeship course is expected to see some of the UK's best future chefs train at University College Birmingham.
It is the first time the Royal Academy Of Culinary Arts' chef apprenticeship has been offered up to students in the Midlands.
The Academy's members include Heston Blumenthal, Raymond Blanc and the Roux brothers.
Apprentices will get to train in Michelin-starred restaurants such as Simpsons and Purnell's during the three-year course.
