'The sort of thing you dream about': A date with The Beatles
It was the age of the Fab Four and screaming teenagers, but one girl from the West Midlands got a chance to live the dream.
Cheryl Vines, from Halesowen, was 16 in 1963 when she won a competition to have tea with The Beatles.
"You can see Paul McCartney with his hand on my shoulder which is so exciting," she said of a photo taken at the time.
The Beatles' fan was sharing her memories as part of a BBC Music initiative charting British Pop through memorabilia.
A special programme will be aired across BBC local radio on 7 February at midday. The full version of the film will be aired on Inside Out West Midlands, 8 February, BBC 1 at 7.30pm.
