Face reconstruction 'transformed my life'
A cancer patient says surgeons at the facial reconstruction unit, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham, have "transformed" her life.
Emma Gable was diagnosed with cancer five years ago and had to have surgery to remove part of her face.
She had a nose custom-made for her out of silicon at the Maxillofacial Unit, using cutting edge technology involving a 3D printer.
"I'm feeling optimistic and positive about the future and ready to embrace the new me," she said.
