Decision to resume Birmingham pub bombing's inquest is 'seismic'

A campaigner who lost her sister in the 1974 Birmingham pub bombings has described a decision to resume inquests into 21 deaths as 'seismic'.

Julie Hambleton, who has led calls for a public inquiry into the attacks, was 11 when her 18 year old sister, Maxine, was killed while handing out party invitations in a pub.

Birmingham coroner Louise Hunt said there had been a "wealth of evidence that still has not been heard" about the atrocities.
