The Virtual reality exhibition taking you back to 1839

Visitors to a Birmingham gallery can step back to the dawn of the photographic era.

Prints snapped by scientist William Henry Fox Talbot were first exhibited at the city's King Edward's School in 1839.

Now, with the help of virtual reality headsets, visitors can get up close to the photos at the Thresholds exhibition at Waterhall Gallery until 6 August.
