Refurbished blood cancer treatment centre reopens

A newly refurbished leukaemia treatment and research centre has started seeing its first patients.

The Centre for Clinical Haematology at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital has undergone a £3.4m revamp and doctors say it means more patients can get life-saving treatments.

The expansion has also pledged to create 75 new jobs.
