Birmingham cathedral open for people to pay respects to Queen
Birmingham Cathedral has opened to allow people to pay their respects, following the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
Candles have been lit and members of the public invited to lay flowers outside St Philip's in memory of the monarch.
Canon Andy Delmege said it was going to open as much as it could over the next two weeks, from early mornings to late evenings, to enable people to come to pay their respects.
