'Huge progress' on first Birmingham HS2 viaduct
Footage has been released showing progress on a 300m-long (984ft) viaduct that will carry HS2 trains into Birmingham.
Once completed, it will allow trains on the high-speed rail line access to the new Curzon Street Station.
Concrete has been poured to create the first two 90m (295ft) structures and construction of two further sections was well advanced, HS2 Ltd said.
It added work on the station itself, which will form the terminus for the London to Birmingham line, would start next year.
