Pothole detector mobile phone app tested in Bristol
A mobile phone app is being tested in Bristol to help report potholes to the city council.
The application uses the motion sensors of the phone while a built in satellite navigation system pinpoints the exact location.
It was developed on behalf of the Mayor of Boston's office to monitor the condition of the American city's streets.
The software will be trialled by Bristol council before the public are invited to help with the experiment.
