Shopland Collection of WWII vehicles go on show

Part of a family-owned collection of WWII vehicles, including a landing craft used in the film Saving Private Ryan, is to go on show to the public.

The collection, in Clevedon, North Somerset, was started in the 1940s by David Shopland.

His son James is preparing to showcase some of the vehicles which include Bedfords, Chevrolets, Crossleys, Austins and Jeeps as well as an artillery section and a number of wartime vehicles undergoing restoration.
