Brunel's Clifton Suspension Bridge swings in high wind

The Clifton Suspension Bridge in Bristol was closed for more than an hour on Wednesday due to high winds which made the bridge deck sway.

The Met Office issued weather warning nationally with Bristol experiencing gusts of up to 55mph.

Bridge master Dave Anderson said he could not remember wind ever closing the 704ft (214m) Grade 1 listed structure before.
