New life-saving equipment for 999 ambulances

New equipment is being introduced on ambulances following the death of a baby.

Lacey-Marie Poton was four-months-old when she suffered a cardiac arrest at home.

An internal report revealed the South Western Ambulance Service crew who took her to hospital did not use blue lights, they failed to warn the hospital they were on their way and they did not have equipment on board which could have helped save her life.

Matthew Hill reports.
