Work starts on bus scheme in Bristol
Work has started on a £190m Metrobus scheme in Bristol, as part of the city's status as European Green Capital.
The project will see buses having exclusive segregated lanes and guided busways to speed up journey times in parts of the city, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset.
But the scheme is facing fierce opposition from green campaigners, who say the money could be better spent.
BBC Points West's Political Editor Paul Barltrop reports.
