Non-invasive brain tumour therapy pioneered in Bristol
A new treatment for brain tumours using gamma rays is being pioneered in Bristol.
Gamma knife therapy works with the use of a radiotherapy mask to help kill off unwanted growths without harming healthy brain tissue.
Bristol Royal Infirmary patient Jenny Rossiter, who has suffered three tumours since 2011, said she welcomed the new treatment because it is non-invasive.
