Bristol home's 50,000 Christmas light switch-on attracts hundreds
The switch-on of more than 50,000 Christmas light at a home in Bristol, has attracted hundreds of spectators.
Featuring 70 light-up figures including Santas and a life-sized nativity, the display at Rosemary Brailsford's home in Brentry took 12 days to erect.
Her sons, Lee and Paul, have been decorating her end-of-terrace house for 21 years to raise money for charity.
The £10,000 display is due to be lit up six hours a day for 31 days, following the big switch-on on Tuesday night.
