Baby hand-reared gorilla 'stronger week by week'

A baby gorilla born during rare surgery at Bristol Zoo is getting "stronger week by week", the zoo has said.

The infant was delivered after her mother, Kera, developed the potentially dangerous condition pre-eclampsia.

She is being hand-reared by zookeepers as her mother is "not quite out of the woods".
