Bristol Zoo 180th birthday: Elephant rides

Archive film footage of Bristol Zoo has been unveiled as part of celebrations to mark the zoo's 180th anniversary.

The footage, along with photographs and records, has been in storage for decades, and staff say much of it is unlikely to have ever been seen by the public before.

Bristol Zoo is the fifth oldest zoo in the world, first opening its doors to the public in 1836.
