Bristol runner Ben Smith starts his 401st marathon

A runner from Portishead began his final marathon earlier as part of his 401 marathons in 401 days challenge.

Just as he reached the halfway point he reached his target goal of £250,000 for his two chosen charities, Stonewall and Kidscape.

Mr Smith started off from Millennium Square in Bristol where he was joined by some 350 runners.
