Wristbands to help dementia sufferers who go missing

A new wristband has been launched by Avon & Somerset Police and Avon Fire & Rescue to help people with dementia.

Inside is a chip which is pre-programmed with phone numbers and personal information.

The chip can be read by most mobile phones if the wearer goes missing, which could help relocate them with loved ones.
