Plane lifted into South Gloucestershire school to become library
A plane has been lifted into a primary school where it will be transformed into a library.
The short-haul airliner was built in Filton in 1993 and retired in 2017.
Following fundraising by St Helen's CE Primary school, in Alveston, and grants from South Gloucestershire Council, it will be renovated over the next few months to become a reading space for the children.
