Labour's new Kingswood MP thanks voters for election win

Labour's new MP Damien Egan thanked voters in his victory speech.

Damien Egan won the seat which previously had a Tory majority of more than 11,000, with a swing of 16.4%

During his victory speech in Bristol, he said the Conservative government had "sucked the hope out of our country," and pledged to start work to "give Kingswood its future back".
