Post Office computer bug 'to blame for £9,000 loss'
A former sub postmistress said she was considering legal action over a Post Office computer problem which she believes resulted in money going missing from her business.
When a shortfall of £9,000 appeared in the accounts, Jenny O'Dell protested her innocence but the Post Office closed the branch. She said, at the time, her family turned against each other.
Ms O'Dell, from Cambridgeshire, is among more than 100 sub postmasters around the country who say the software defects led to them being wrongly accused.
The Post Office admitted that software defects had occurred with a computer system.
