Lister racing car returns to production

The discovery of "mothballed" vehicle parts in Cambridgeshire has sparked a plan to bring a classic British racing car back into production nearly 60 years after it was first made.

The Lister Jaguar, nicknamed "knobbly" due to its contours, was first built in the 1950s and regularly outpaced it' Ferrari, Maserati and Jaguar rivals.

Now Lancashire businessman Lawrence Whittaker, along with his father, has invested the money to bring it back into production.
