Cromwell Museum in Huntingdon threatened with closure
The Cromwell Museum in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire could fall victim to budget cuts as the county council tries to save £149m over the next five years.
The museum, once the school where Oliver Cromwell was educated, attracts about 13,000 visitors a year with annual running costs of £20,000.
Now the council says it will close in 2018 unless another group takes over management and funding.
Campaigners to keep it open say the museum gives value for money.
