Duran Duran singer Simon Le Bon relives 1985 sea rescue

Thirty-one years ago the pop star Simon Le Bon nearly died when the yacht he was racing capsized off the Cornish coast.

For the first time he watches a video of the moment when he "looked into the eyes of death".

It was cruelly ironic for Duran Duran fans to see the band's front man winched off the yacht Drum, after it capsized during a race in 1985.

Le Bon watched the footage of the rescue for the first time when taking part in a special BBC One documentary about the helicopter crew who saved him.
