Crowds gather at Poldhu Cove to see stunning starling murmuration

Crowds of people gathered at Poldhu Cove in Cornwall to watch a starling murmuration.

The phenomenon occurs when thousands of the birds come together to swoop and swirl across the sky, just before dusk.

The murmuration protects the starlings from predators as well as creating an amazing natural spectacle.
