Daniel Pelka death in 2012 still haunts Coventry

Two years after Daniel Pelka was murdered by his mother and stepfather, the case continues to affect child protection workers in Coventry.

Social worker Chris Horne, who visited the boy's home after his death, said he now looks at every case as a "potential Daniel".

A serious case review into the four-year-old's death criticised police, health professionals, social services and his school.

Magdalana Luczak and Marius Kresholek were both jailed for a minimum of 30 years in August.
