Coventry Sikhs celebrate Vaisakhi festival with parade

Thousands of Sikhs have celebrated the festival of Vaisakhi by parading through the streets of Coventry.

The event celebrates the founding of the Khalsa or Sikh brotherhood in 1699 by the religion's tenth guru, Gobind Singh.

BBC Midlands Today's Nadine Towell went to Coventry to find out how local non-Sikh Charities also benefitted from the event.
